Dr. Tom Hein
Senior teaching Pastor
I grew up in the small northeast Iowa town of Elkader. I attended the University of Iowa where I came to know Jesus as my Savior, met my wife, and graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering. After two years of questioning and thinking about my life calling, (whether I was called to continue in the engineering field or into full time pastoral ministry), I attended Denver Seminary where I received a degree in Biblical Studies. I have served at New Hope Church since 2000, and as the original pastor of the church. My wife, Kathleen, and I have two adult sons.
