Mission

“Let the children come to Me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.”
Mark 10:14, ESV

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.

HOW TO GET INVOLED

Where can you get a shoebox?

Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Our mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.

You may grab a shoebox from New Hope Church during any Sunday morning Service, during our Wednesday Kids Ministry evening activities or at New Hope Church Office Monday-Thursday 8-4pm.   You also can use any standard size shoebox that you have lying around at home.

Toys, stuffed animals, hygiene items, school supplies, clothes, etc.  For a list of ideas and for all detailed information about how to pack a shoebox, go to www.samaritanspurse.com/operation-christmas-child/pack-a-shoe-box/
